The future
Roche will continue to invest in research and development to produce effective treatments, expand its portfolio of assays and drive further advancements in the technology that helps to diagnose and monitor people with cardiovascular disease.
Roche's future pipeline includes two treatments in Phase III trials: dalcetrapib, a molecule which aims to reduce cardiovascular events by raising the 'good' high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and aleglitazar, a treatment being developed to reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in high risk people with Type 2 diabetes.
